GCAT - Fighting Terrorist Infrastructures

Global Coalition Against Terrorism, is a worldwide non-government non-profit organization which is fighting terrorism by identifying terrorist infrastructures, exposing the links between terrorist infrastructures, terrorist organizations and terrorist attacks and causing the conceptual and legal change in the attitude towards terrorist infrastructures:

1. Identifying and exposing terrorist infrastructures:
Global Coalition Against Terrorism strives to put in the sunlight those who assist terrorists by providing material support, religious justification and political assistance for terrorists and terrist organizations, or are engaged in terrorist propaganda and indoctrination.

2. Information activities:
Global Coalition Against Terrorism conducts worldwide media campaigns against terrorism and terrorist infrastructures in order to influence public agenda and to increase awareness of terrorist support networks.

3. Lawsuits against terrorist infrastructures:
Global Coalition Against Terrorism provides assistance to victims of terrorist attacks in filing civil lawsuits against organizations and individuals that form part of terrorist infrastructures in order to obtain compensation for injuries suffered in terrorist attacks from those who aid terrorists.

4. Legislation and policies:
Global Coalition Against Terrorism is engaged through its regional and country offices in various activities in order to better reflect issues concerning terrorism and terrorist infrastructures in legislation and policies. The coalition maintains contacts with law and policy makers on local, country and international level.

5. Promoting tolerance and peaceful resolution of conflicts:
Global Coalition Against Terrorism supports projects aimed to promote tolerance, peaceful coexistance and non-violent ways of dealing with conflict and grievances as an alternative to hatred and violence dissiminated by terrorist networks.
