O anúncio oficial da libertação da refém franco-colombiana Ingrid Betancourt foi
recebido com palmas pelos presentes na conferência de imprensa. Para além de
Betancourt foram libertados pelo Exército da Colômbia três reféns
norte-americanos e 11 militares colombianos.
